About Me

Hi! My name is Julie Michalski and I’m currently based in Stockholm, Sweden. I hold a BA in English Literature from University College London (UCL), where my primary interest lay in modernist American authors. My journey from the literary world to that of visual art was consolidated when I spent a year studying at the Edinburgh Atelier of Fine Art, where I began building a foundation in academic drawing and oil painting. I primarily draw with graphite and paint in oil, though I occasionally use other mediums such as watercolour.
